What Is Apiban 5 mg?

• Generic Name: Apixaban, a direct oral Factor Xa inhibitor, used as an anticoagulant to prevent and treat blood clots. Marketed in Pakistan by Highnoon Laboratories and available in 30‑tablet packs. 

Approved Uses & Benefits

• Stroke prevention in nonvalvular atrial fibrillation. 

• Treatment and prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).

• Prophylaxis after hip or knee replacement surgery to reduce the risk of postoperative DVT/PE.
