 Potential Side Effects / Considerations

While many toddlers tolerate Aptamil 3 well, feedback from parents suggests:

• Some toddlers may experience gas, constipation, or green stools. A few reported spitting up or discomfort during formula changes 

• In rare cases, lactose intolerance or cow’s milk protein sensitivity may result in symptoms like gas or diarrhea even though this particular formula is not lactose-free. Adjustment might require switching to a lactose-reduced or hypoallergenic formula under medical guidance 

• As with any toddler milk product, be mindful of added sugars—toddler formulas can contain more sugar than natural cow’s milk, which is a concern raised by groups like the AAP—especially when toddlers eat balanced solid diets already
