BEMPEGET-EZ combines two active ingredients—Bempedoic Acid and Ezetimibe—in one tablet to help lower elevated LDL (“bad”) cholesterol when diet and lifestyle alone are insufficient. Bempedoic Acid reduces cholesterol production in the liver, while Ezetimibe blocks the absorption of dietary cholesterol in the intestines. This dual-mechanism formulation is designed for adults who require additional cholesterol control or who may not tolerate high-intensity statins.

Uses

It is indicated for the management of primary hyperlipidemia (including non-familial and familial heterozygous forms) and for the reduction of LDL cholesterol levels in patients at risk of cardiovascular disease when established cholesterol-lowering therapies are inadequate.
