Pharmacist Advice
Take EGLARO exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It is generally taken once daily, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water.
Maintain adequate fluid intake because Ertugliflozin increases glucose and fluid loss through urine.
Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, low blood pressure, recurrent urinary or genital infections, or are taking diuretics or other diabetes medicines.
Monitor blood glucose according to your healthcare professional's instructions. Do not stop or change your diabetes treatment without medical advice.
EGLARO is not intended to treat Type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. Discuss its use with your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.
