Overview:
ENTOX-P Tablet is a combination medicine that contains metronidazole (an anti-parasitic and antibacterial agent) and paracetamol (a pain reliever and fever reducer). It is used to treat parasitic infections while also relieving associated pain and fever.
Uses:

Treatment of amoebiasis (intestinal and extra-intestinal)

Management of giardiasis

Treatment of certain bacterial and parasitic mixed infections

Relief from fever and pain associated with infections
How It Works:

Metronidazole kills or inhibits the growth of protozoa and certain bacteria by damaging their DNA.

Paracetamol works by blocking pain signals in the brain and reducing fever through its action on the hypothalamus.
Dosage & Administration:
Take ENTOX-P Tablet as prescribed by your doctor, usually with food to minimize stomach upset. The dosage depends on the severity of infection and the patient’s age and weight.
Side Effects:
Possible side effects include nausea, metallic taste, loss of appetite, stomach upset, dizziness, or headache. Rarely, allergic reactions, liver enzyme changes, or blood disorders may occur.

Avoid alcohol during treatment and for at least 48 hours after the last dose
