Pharmacist Advice
Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before testing. Use a new sterile lancet for each test and follow the manufacturer's instructions for obtaining and applying the blood sample.
Use only compatible GS700 test strips, and check their expiry date and storage conditions before use. The manufacturer specifies storage conditions for the strips of approximately 4–30°C with relative humidity below 90%.
Do not share the lancing device or lancets with another person. The GM700S manual states that the system is intended for personal self-testing and is not recommended for multiple users.
Keep a record of your readings and discuss unusual or consistently high/low results with your doctor. Do not change diabetes medication based on a single home glucose reading without professional advice.
