Pharmacist Advice

GLYNITRIN Injection must be administered only by a qualified healthcare professional in an appropriate clinical setting. It is not intended for self-administration.

Blood pressure, heart rate and clinical response should be monitored during treatment. The dose and infusion rate must be determined by the treating physician according to the patient's condition.

Do not use with PDE-5 inhibitors such as sildenafil, tadalafil or vardenafil unless specifically cleared by the treating physician, as the combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.

Inform the healthcare team about all medicines being taken, particularly other blood-pressure medicines and vasodilators. Patients with significant low blood pressure or certain cardiovascular conditions require careful medical assessment before treatment.
