KLARICID GRANULES 60ML
Klaricid Granules 60 ml — Clarithromycin 125 mg/5 ml Oral Suspension
📌 Product Overview
Klaricid Granules contains Clarithromycin 125 mg per 5 ml when reconstituted into 70 ml of suspension, ideal for pediatric and adult use in a 60 ml bottle format
✅ Therapeutic Uses
Klaricid (Clarithromycin) is a macrolide antibiotic effective against a broad range of bacterial infections. It's indicated for:
-
Upper respiratory tract infections (e.g. streptococcal pharyngitis, sinusitis)
-
Lower respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia)
-
Acute otitis media
-
Skin and soft tissue infections (impetigo, cellulitis, folliculitis)
-
Mycobacterial infections (e.g. Mycobacterium avium complex)
⚙️ Mode of Action
Clarithromycin targets the bacterial 50S ribosomal unit to obstruct protein synthesis, halting bacterial growth. It retains potency against strains resistant to other antibiotic classes
