Description

Lotrix Lotion contains Permethrin, a topical antiparasitic medicine used to treat scabies and lice infestations. It kills mites/lice and their eggs, helping relieve itching and skin irritation.

Uses

• Scabies

• Head lice

• Body / pubic lice (as advised by a doctor)

Directions for Use

For Scabies (Permethrin 5%):

• Apply a thin layer from neck to toes (include skin folds, under nails)

• Leave on for 8–14 hours, then wash off

• Usually one application; repeat after 7 days if advised

For Lice (if prescribed):

• Apply to affected area/hair as directed

• Follow nit-combing and hygiene instructions

• For external use only

Side Effects

Usually mild and temporary:

• Itching or burning

• Redness

• Tingling at application site
  (Itching may persist for a few days even after mites are killed.)

Precautions

• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, broken skin

• Safe for children when used as prescribed

• Use in pregnancy/breastfeeding only if advised

• Wash clothes, bedding, and towels in hot water
