PULMITAC 10mg Tablets contain Bambuterol Hydrochloride 10mg and are manufactured by Platinum Pharmaceuticals (Pvt.) Ltd. Bambuterol is a long-acting beta-2 bronchodilator used for the maintenance treatment of bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other respiratory conditions associated with reversible airway obstruction. After administration, Bambuterol is converted in the body to Terbutaline, which relaxes the airway muscles, improves airflow, and helps reduce symptoms such as wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath. It is intended for long-term control and should not be used to relieve sudden asthma attacks.
