TRUGLIF MET 12.5MG 500MG TAB 14s
TRUGLIF MET 12.5mg/500mg Tablets contain Empagliflozin 12.5mg and Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg and are manufactured by AGP Limited. This combination antidiabetic medicine is indicated for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in adults as an adjunct to diet and exercise. Empagliflozin, an SGLT2 inhibitor, lowers blood glucose by increasing urinary glucose excretion, while Metformin, a biguanide, decreases glucose production by the liver and improves insulin sensitivity. Together, they provide effective glycemic control and may also help reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications in appropriate patients.
