VALIANT-M 50/850MG

Valiant-M 50/850mg is a combination anti-diabetic medicine containing Vildagliptin 50mg and Metformin Hydrochloride 850mg. It is used in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus when diet and exercise alone are not sufficient to achieve adequate blood sugar control. Vildagliptin helps improve glucose-dependent insulin response, while Metformin reduces glucose production by the liver and improves insulin sensitivity.

Regular monitoring of blood glucose is important. Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, pancreatitis, or are taking other diabetes medicines.

Avoid excessive alcohol consumption because it can increase the risk of complications associated with Metformin.

If you miss a dose, take it when remembered unless it is nearly time for the next dose. Do not double the dose.

Your doctor may periodically monitor kidney function and liver enzymes during treatment.
