Xenglu Met XR is a combination oral antidiabetic medication that contains Empagliflozin 5mg and Metformin Hydrochloride Extended Release 1000mg. It belongs to the class of Sodium-Glucose Co-Transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors combined with a Biguanide. It helps control high blood sugar in patients with type 2 diabetes.
